If you don't want to speak to someone you don't know… then phone someone you trust, they may help you think things through. 

Everyone experiences difficulties at some point in life.

Avoiding facing our problems usually causes more difficulty later. It is better to face up to your difficulties but you don't have to do this alone.

There is help available. However you are feeling now, these feelings will change in time.

Asking for help is not a weakness. It is a sign of strength.


Here is a simple practice to help you transform emotional pain: 

Take a deep breath in and bring your attention to your breathing...

keep your attention there for now

all you need do in this moment is breathe

breathe in...then pause for just one second between breaths...

breathe out...then 
pause for just one second between breaths...

breathing in...pause for just one second...

breathing out...
pause for just one second...

Resting all your attention on breathing...

Feel the effects of breathing in your body...

Feel the feelings and let them spread through the whole of your body.

pause for just one second...

breathing out...

pause for just one second...

Resting all your attetion on breathing...

breathing in...

pause for just one second breath...

breathing out...

and pause for just one second...

Feel the effects of breathing in your body
...

Feel the feelings and let them spread through the whole of your body

Continue breathing and feeling...feeling and breathing...

breathing out feeling...pause for just one second...

Breathing in...feel the feeling of breathing in...
