‘Expanding Deep Listening’
Introductory workshops in the Core Process psychotherapeutic approach with John MacFadyen
These introductory workshops draw on mindful-awareness practices and Buddhist psychology to explore aspects of our human potential. These practices help to reveal the loops and knots of unhappiness we get caught in and how relational mindfulness and creativity can be accessed to help dissolve patterns of developmental arrest and self-limitation.
You will also be introduced to the central concepts which inform Core Process Psychotherapy and how it interfaces with other psychotherapy modalities.
These workshops are open to anyone who wants to learn more about the Core Process approach.
They are also a CPD opportunity - attending a workshop is a requirement for anyone applying for the PQMA in mindfulness-based psychotherapeutic practice.
Dates: November 26/27 in Edinburgh and December 10/11 in Glasgow
The cost of each two-day introductory workshop is £90.00.

Post qualification M.A. in Mindfulness-based Psychotherapeutic Practice
This is a two year post qualification M.A. in Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapeutic Practice for therapists, practitioners and professionals (validated by Middlesex University)
Participants will be introduced to key contemplative practices and relational skills. These can facilitate a more expansive relationship with the layers of psychodynamic process held in early attachment.
They also help to reveal how we relate to our internal ‘objects’ and the formation and shaping of our world view.
By attuning to and trusting our intrinsic creative aliveness and listening more deeply to ‘self’ as a dynamic process, these fundamental patterns and resources become more accessible for personal and professional development.
This course also provides an opportunity for depth exploration of the dynamics which obscure and reconnect us to the source of our natural resilience and spontaneity.
